The
unique Growhomes concept allows house owners to upgrade
their homes according to their needs.
Golden
Hope Development Sdn Bhd, developer of the 2,800-acre
township taking shape in Nilai merely 10km away from
the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) ought
to be given due recognition for coming up with its unique
Growhomes concept.
And why not, since it represents a wonderful solution
for a family that is growing, both in size and economically.
According to Golden Hope general manager Azmar Talib,
families can start off by purchasing a standard double-storey
bungalow.
"Then as the family grows and the person's income
increases over the years, they can upgrade and not have
to buy another bigger home some place else and have
to move away," Azmar said.
Not surprisingly, the Growhomes bungalows have been
well-received so far. Take the 27 double-storey Cyperus
Growhomes launched in January this year fror example,
where all the units were sold out within two months.
What's available now are the Growhomes double-storey
bungalows within the 28-acre Lamanseri enclave. These
bungalows will carry a Malaya theme, based on traditional
architectural influences that use a lot of verandah
and natural lighting in its design.
To date, the developer has launched 34 of the 94 bungalow
units planned in Lamanseri and of this 65 per cent have
been taken up. These units with built-up areas ranging
between 1,987sq ft and 2,590sq ft are pegged from RM232,999
to RM429,070.
The next batch of these units, however, when they are
launched will be pegged slightly higher, by about five
to ten per cent.
Last year, the developer opened for sale 86 bungalow
lots in Lamanseri, of which 70 per cent have been sold.
The land areas for these plots range between 4,000sq
ft and 7,727sq ft and are pegged from RM70,200.
Other positive attributes about the homes in Lamanseri
are that they will be surrounded by man-made lakes and
that they are sited just next to the 16-acre Central
Park which will again feature lakes and lots of greenery.
Lamanseri buyers will also have a home in an exclusively
landscaped garden environment as well as an interesting
entrance statement.
In keeping with the "garden living within the greater
airport city" theme, the developer has allocated
some RM100 million on landscaping the RM2.3 billion
Kota Seriemas township that will also feature concealed
drains and underground cabling.
Over 200 units of double-storey houses that were launched
about two years ago are scheduled for completion soon,
in May this year. For those with smaller budgets, you
may want to purchase these 20ft by 65ft units pegged
from RM118,888 as there are limited units still available
for sale.
